Philodendron Imperial Red - 140mm

The Philodendron Imperial Red is a striking and elegant house plant known for its vibrant foliage and regal appearance. Its most distinctive feature is its large, glossy, heart-shaped leaves that start as a rich, deep red or burgundy color. As the leaves mature, they transition to a darker green, creating a stunning contrast. The leaves are often smooth and have a leathery texture.

It typically grows to about 2-3 feet (60-90 cm) in height and can spread out 2 feet (60 cm) or more, depending on growing conditions.

CARE TIPS

• This plant is relatively easy to care for making it suitable for both novice and experienced plant enthusiasts.  It thrives in bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light conditions. This may affect how fast it grows and how bright the leaves become.
• Imperial Red prefers constantly moist soil, so it's important to water it regularly, allowing the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. 
• A well draining potting mix is essential to avoid root rot. 
• Philodendron Imperial Red loves and will benefit from a higher humidity level and occasional misting of its leaves.
