waThe Maranta Leuconeura 'Rosea', also known as the Rose Painted Prayer Plant, is a beautiful, low-growing houseplant known for its striking foliage. The 'Rosea' variety of Maranta features dark green leaves with a stunning contrast of pink veins and a reddish tinge on the underside. The leaves are oval-shaped and have a soft, velvety texture. This plant has a creeping, spreading growth habit, making it perfect for hanging baskets or in a pot with a growth support.

CARE TIPS

• Maranta leuconeura 'Rosea' thrives in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight as it can scorch the leaves. It can tolerate lower light levels but may not grow as vigorously or have as vibrant foliage.
• Keep the soil consistently moist, but not waterlogged. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out slightly before watering again. Overwatering or letting the plant sit in soggy soil can lead to root rot. It is best to use room-temperature, distilled, or rainwater if possible. Fluoride and chlorine in tap water can sometimes cause leaf tip burn.
• This plant prefers high humidity levels. Aim for at least 50% humidity, and consider using a humidifier or placing the plant on a pebble tray with water to boost humidity.
